Here’s a photo I took of Snow Lion in 2006.
Not much has changed, although they’ve switched to strictly vegetarian cuisine. Chemey still eats breakfast here every day, and often dinner. He pays a monthly tab.
It was great to see Acha La again. Here we are looking at photos from 2006 that we put on Bennett’s phone.
Acha La made carrot and banana cake this morning, so we ordered one of each.
Acha La takes care of everyone. Bennett had his phone unlocked before leaving the U.S, but still needed a SIM card. Acha La had an extra that she loaned him.
After a leisurely evening catching up, we walked back through the main bazaar to our place on the hillside.
