The Archive needs a photo for an upcoming book and DVD set to be published in Taiwan, so we got out the camera and got to work.
Leaving the monastery, Phuntsok now has to worry about things like how his hair looks in photos.
Phuntsok has a very specific expression that says “There’s a problem here.” If I had to put his face on a traffic signal, I’d make him the yellow light, somewhere between a smile and an exclamation point. Here, I just asked him what he thinks of the staff photo.
